We are delighted to announce that the 3^rd Francistown Marathon route has been officially certified by World Athletics. This certification means that our marathon may be used as a qualifier to international marathons. The certified routes include our four (4) race categories covering 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km.

We are also proud to announce that 3^rd BTC Francistown Marathon is an official Comrades Marathon Qualifier. Athletes and interested participants are further informed that plans are underway to register our marathon for other international marathons to offer participating athletes an opportunity to compete on international stages.
