The Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Group (BTC) wholly owns the following three entities;
a) Botsnet - for all internet services
b) beMOBILE - for all mobile services
c) BTC Fixed - for all fixed services
BTC also has a service neutral license and provides various types of telecommunications services. Among BTC’s bouquet of services are fixed line telephone service, Mobile, Data Services, Bandwidth, Broadband and Internet Connectivity.
Therefore, as part of the BTC Group Strategy, BTC intends to implement;
1 A state of the art Network Operation Centre (NOC) to host, manage and control the various elements that make up the BTC network and
2 A Unified Hosted Solution that is able to deliver Hosted IP PABX, Conferencing
(audio, web and video), Mobile applications, Messaging and Contact centre; all working from a single platform.
To this end, BTC requests information from interested parties for the design of a Network Control Centre and/or a Unified Communications Solution.
